In March, the East Bay's award-winning WomenSing travels to Schroeder Hall in Sonoma County for a special benefit performance, "Moments of Water." Our repertoire will flow like water from the 18th century with the Domine Deus by J.S. Bach to the 20th century with R. Murray Shafer's experimental Miniwanka (Moments of Water), an imaginative setting of Native American words for rain, stream, waterfall, lake, river, and ocean. Guest organist and Schroeder Hall curator David Parsons will accompany WomenSing's voices in joint works and will offer a special close-up peek at the Hall's baroque organ. This program will benefit Global Partners for Development (https://gpfd.org/), a Sonoma County-based nonprofit organization that supports clean water projects for children. A reception will follow the performance. Presented by WomenSing
