7th Annual Wine Country Rowing Classic

A rowing regatta that brings around 500 competitive rowers to Petaluma annually. In the Marina (Sheraton) parking lot, in addition to the crews and their boats, spectators can enjoy the products of vendors of food, jewelry and athletic apparel. One of the most visible "head race" (5k) courses on the West coast, the Petaluma River boasts not only spectacular views of the river, but on the way, wildlife sightings! Juniors, Collegiate and Masters rowers compete for medals in all manner of rowing shells, from singles to "eights". Come out and see this awesome sport on our own river! Free to spectators.
